The New York Yankees' Spring Training matchup against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday showed that Yankee fans have a lot to be excited for in 2020. Gerrit Cole had a stellar 2.2-inning outing, and Gleyber Torres showed that he hasn't missed a beat since his incredible 2019 campaign by adding to the team's lead with this three-run homer.

With the injuries of Luis Severino, James Paxton, Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge, there's a lot for Yankee fans to be angry about. However, amidst all the pain, Torres is still a young, bright spot that fans can look at for hope. After seeing his blast in the fifth inning of Saturday's game, things seem to be looking up for him in 2020, a season in which he's desperately needed.

Someone needs to step up for the depleted Bronx Bombers with all the injuries the team is suffering, and if his bomb from Saturday says anything, Torres could be the guy to do it.
