Yankees Reveal Lineup for ALDS Game 2 vs Twins
By Parker White

You know how everyone was confused by Aaron Boone's starting lineup for Game 1 of the ALDS? I mean, Brett Gardner was batting third against Minnesota ahead of Edwin Encarnacion and Giancarlo Stanton. Crazy, right?
Well, it worked and led to a 10-4 victory, so Boone is running it back Saturday for Game 2.

The top four hitters combined to go 7-for-17 with five extra-base hits, seven runs scored and six RBI in Game 1. Yeah, I wouldn't mix it around either, especially since LeMahieu and Gardner showed off their power and went deep.
Machine from the leadoff spot.

The only difference today is right-hander Masahiro Tanaka getting the start, who in five career postseason starts is 3-2 with a 1.50 ERA and 0.80 WHIP.
Not only will the Yankees hope for more of the same from the top of the lineup, but the bottom third that features Gary Sanchez, Didi Gregorius and Gio Urshela went a combined 0-for-13 with two walks and five strikeouts.
They'll need those guys to pick it up to really be dangerous moving forward.
