Yankees Literally Have More Homers at Camden Yards Than Tigers Have at Home This Season

2019 has been the year of the home run. For some teams, in a good way. But not so much for others.

The New York Yankees have shown they are prodigious at mashing them, and the Baltimore Orioles have shown they cannot stop giving up the long ball. In fact, the Bronx Bombers have beat up on the O's all season, and they have done to such an extent that they have dealt more damage at Camden Yards than other teams do at their own home ballparks.

In just nine games in Baltimore, the Yankees have hit 39 home runs, which equals just over four home runs per game. And Detroit Tigers cannot even muster anything close to one home run a game at the ostensibly friendly confines of Comerica Park.

Without diving into the stats too deeply, it is pretty easy to tell that the Orioles and Tigers are the cellar-dwellers of baseball. Gleyber Torres has supplied much of the damage against the Orioles, with 7 home runs in Baltimore alone.

Tigers fans would think they can figure out a way to put out three more home runs before the end of the season to avoid being part of one off the craziest statistics in recent baseball history. Luckily for the Baltimore faithful, the Yankees will not play in Camden Yards for the rest of the 2019 season.
