Yankees' Luke Voit and Jonathan Holder Living it up Golfing With Legend John Daly
By Brendan Balsamo
With the delay of the start of the MLB season due to the coronavirus pandemic, MLB players need to find a way to occupy themselves without baseball.
First baseman Luke Voit and reliever Jonathan Holder of the New York Yankees seem to be having no trouble doing so. On Monday afternoon, Voit posted a picture on Instagram of the two golfing with former champion John Daly.
Ahhh yes, very good. That's a gathering smaller than 10 people and it's outdoors. Checks all the boxes in abiding with the coronavirus protocol.
With Spring Training suspended in Tampa, it's no wonder Voit and Holder went to hit the links to get some fresh air and physical activity. It doesn't hurt to tee it up with a two-time major winner in Daly, either.
Fans would probably feel a bit more comfortable if Voit weren't out and about amid the coronavirus scare, especially since someone in the Yankees organization tested positive, but at least he did something cool with the limited time he should be spending outside his living quarters.
