VIDEO: Old Clip From Spring Training Features Yankees' Luke Voit Trolling the Astros During Batting Practice
By Jack Murphy

During Spring Training, there have been a fair share of instances where fans and players have taken shots at the Houston Astros for their infamous cheating scandal. But how did we miss this one?! An old clip from earlier this spring before the MLB called off operations features New York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit, who attempted to signal what pitch is coming during batting practice.
Luke Voit banging on the batting cage during BP trolling the Astros is incredible. This is from last month, but it’ll never get old.

Right before each pitch, Voit can be seen tapping the wheel of the portable backstop, clearly making a joke of the Astros' tactics in which they banged on a trash can to signal an off-speed pitch was coming. People don't forget, Houston!
The Bronx Bombers were indeed victims of the Astros' cheating in 2017 considering they lost to them in seven games in that wild ALCS. While Voit wasn't part of that 2017 Yankees team, he was a member of the 2019 team that fell to Houston in the ALCS, and many believed the cheating persisted until the end of last season.
Luke Voit going yard on Opening Day last year was so satisfying.

He was supposed to do it again for the Yankees against the Orioles this year too.
Guess nothing is guaranteed in life. Who knew that meant baseball too? pic.twitter.com/2MSlKRYYFu
Even with baseball on hold, we're still being reminded of the Astros' scandal and how players and fans manage to give them a hard time about it. We. Want. More.
