New York Yankees fans have every reason to be excited for 2020. An improved roster after deep playoff runs the past three seasons should only bring out the best in the Bronx this year.

Despite the immediate success the Bombers are bound to have, there is reason to look ahead a few years past 2020. MLB Pipeline tweeted out a showcase on Yankees prospect Jasson Dominguez on Saturday, and it looks like the 17-year-old could be one of the Yankees' most highly-coveted prospects ever.

According to scouts, Dominguez is one of the best, if not the best young baseball player to ever take the field.

"He's the best player I have ever laid eyes on," said one scout.

By studying his frame and his swing, he does not at all look like a kid who's only supposed to be in his junior year of high school. He just turned 17 on Saturday. Dominguez's otherworldly abilities have tagged him with the nickname "The Martian" that has stuck with him since his days as a 14-year-old prospect in the Dominican Republic.

Yeah, sure, the rest of the MLB is scared of the Yankees right now. But when Dominguez comes up to the majors for the first time and is potentially surrounded by veterans like Aaron Judge, Gleyber Torres, Gary Sanchez and Gerrit Cole, the rest of the MLB will be terrified.
