Yankees Receive Positive Update After Giancarlo Stanton's MRI But He May Miss London Series
By Brendan Azoff

After a strong run of positive news for Yankees fans, things looked bleak Tuesday when Giancarlo Stanton left the game with what appeared to be another mystery injury. The Yankees had finally reached full strength in regards to their lineup, but immediately someone went down, following in the footsteps of Cameron Maybin.
But after some testing, Stanton's initial prognosis returned positive results for the team and fans alike.
Giancarlo Stanton's knee is sore and stiff today but "nothing as far as any (IL) moves or anything like that, just seeing how the next couple hours unfold and even the next couple days," Aaron Boone says.

Stanton was held out of Wednesday's lineup against the Blue Jays and will have two days to rest up before his team takes on the Red Sox in London. It is unclear whether the slugger will be able to suit up for either one of the two games there, but with no long term damage and a lineup that can destroy baseballs without Stanton in the lineup, there is no need to rush him back.

The former MVP has been unable to avoid the injury plague this season, and every time he takes a positive step forward, another minor injury causes him to take two steps back.
Hopefully further tests on Stanton's knee will show the same results, and the outfielder will be able to return to the middle of the order in no time.
