The New York Yankees begin their quest for their 28th championship tonight, as they face the Minnesota Twins in Game 1 of the ALDS in the Bronx.

So, how will manager Aaron Boone set up the lineup against Twins right-hander Jose Berrios? Take a look. It's possible you've never seen this one before.

The first thing that jumps out is Brett Gardner starting in center field and batting third behind right fielder Aaron Judge and in front of designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion, making his glorious return.

Believe it or not, Gardner has hit third in 13 games this year, but who would've thought that would continue in October?

With DJ LeMahieu starting at first base and hitting leadoff, Gleyber Torres will start at second base and bat sixth, while Didi Gregorius will start at shortstop and bat eighth in front of third baseman Gio Urshela.

Oddly enough, the power bat of catcher Gary Sanchez is in the seventh spot.

While it's weird that Gardner is hitting third with the likes Giancarlo Stanton, Encarnacion and Sanchez starting, it just proves this Yankee lineup is incredible, deep and powerful. Luke Voit's not even playing. Mercy.

Game 1 of the ALDS between the Twins and Yankees begins at 7:07 pm ET at Yankee Stadium.
