Yankees Reportedly Held Team Meeting to Air Grievances About Astros Sign-Stealing Scandal
By Dylan McCaffrey

The New York Yankees had some thoughts about their scandalous playoff rival Houston Astros that they had to get off their chest.
The organization held a team meeting and addressed some of the grievances they had about the team that used sign-stealing to knock them out of the 2017 MLB Playoffs.
Yankees held team meeting 2 weeks ago where they got things off their chest regarding Astros cheating then decided to move on. And they have done a good job of that. Their long meeting w/union leaders was more about the CBA, financial issues and general technology thoughts.

While the meeting wasn't originally meant to address the players' feelings about the Houston Astros, it's clear that it was something weighing on their minds.
The Astros have ended two of New York's last three seasons and went to the World Series in both of those campaigns. They won the title in 2017 after defeating the Yankees in the ALCS. Aaron Judge was the runner-up to Houston's Jose Altuve for the 2017 MVP award, something even Judge thought was illegitimate.
"I was just sick to my stomach."

Even as they aired their opinions about the Astros' cheating, it's surely something that will continue to haunt the team.
Many players, fans and organizations have been vocal about how the Astros have effectively ruined the last few seasons with their tactics. The scandal raised red flags around the league.

Now that the Astros' cheating is out in the open, hopefully the MLB can move forward without similar problems. The Yankees, while they have other problems now, have a clean slate and a fair playing field for the 2020 season.
