VIDEO: Tommy Kahnle Mic'd Up is Every Yankee Fan's Dream
By Dylan McCaffrey

No matter who you ask, Tommy Kahnle is a fan favorite. The Yankees pitcher was mic'd up for media shoots at the Yankees' Spring Training camp in Florida this week, and this is the content we've all needed in our lives. After seeing other players like Zack Britton and Tyler Wade on the wire, thank goodness the team caved and gave us a full segment of Tommy.
And now the moment you've all been waiting for ...

The video is full of quotable moments, from Kanhle talking about his cookie sandwich dessert, to goofing around with other Yankee players. Yankees fans will love to see this kind of fun attitude as we approach opening day on March 26.
The Yankees will need it too. After achieving first place in the American League in 2019, the Yankees lost the ALCS in six games to the Houston Astros. This loss is amplified by the fact that the Astros are the focus of a highly publicized sign stealing scandal, and many Yankees fans think they were cheated out of another championship chance.
Aaron Judge on whether #Astros should be stripped of their 2017 title: "I don't think it has any value. It wasn't earned." Also said continuing revelations about sign-stealing made him "sick to my stomach." #Yankees

The Yankees lost that 2017 chance to the Astros as well, and Aaron Judge could have the 2017 MVP if it wasn't for the Astros' sign stealing.
With so much lost to the Astros' cheating, the Yankees need a positive mindset and a clean slate coming into the 2020 season.
Enter: Tommy Kahnle.
If Kahnle can provide relief to James Paxton and Luis Severino, as well as that goofy attitude, the Yankees will provide a fun season for fans.
