VIDEO: Yankees' Tyler Wade Clocks 2-Run Homer Against Nationals at Spring Training
By Scott Rogust

Even though Major League Baseball is suspending Spring Training across the league starting Friday, there are still games being played on Thursday afternoon. The New York Yankees were down 2-1 to the Washington Nationals, and infielder Tyler Wade had the chance to at least tie things up with a man on base. Facing a full count, Wade launched a deep shot over the right field wall to give the Yankees the 3-2 lead over the defending champs.

Given the Yankees' myriad of injuries, Wade's homer shows that, just like last season, they can still be in good hands until their stars make their returns to the starting lineup.
