Yankees vs Rays MLB Live Stream Reddit for Series Opener

AL East supremacy is on the line as the New York Yankees (26-16) and the Tampa Bay Rays (26-15) are set to open up a three-game series in the Bronx.

Yankees Lineup

After enduring a brutal 0-for-21 patch, Luke Voit will look to build off of his 3-for-4 showing against the Orioles on Wednesday. He bats third behind Aaron Hicks, who returned from the injured list on Monday. DJ Lemahieu is leading off and playing second base.

CC Sabathia (2-1, 3.26 ERA) gets the start for New York. He and the Rays haven't been on the best of terms dating back to last year, so tonight's proceedings will certainly be something to keep an eye on.

Rays Lineup

Tampa Bay's lefty-heavy lineup might run into some trouble squaring off against the veteran Sabathia. The Rays could use some production out of Brandon Lowe in particular. He's slashing just .185/.214/.333 over his last seven games.

The Rays will deploy the bat of Yandy Díaz atop the order. Tommy Pham hits second, with Austin Meadows in the three-hole.

The pitching staff will look to continue it's run of dominance after twirling back-to-back shutouts against the lowly Miami Marlins earlier in the week. An opener is in play Friday night, as Ryne Stanek will take the hill for Tampa, making his 12 "start" of the yer.
