Yankees Lineup

Cameron Maybin was activated from the IL and is back in the Yankees lineup, hitting seventh. DJ LeMahieu is leading off. He paces the AL with a .333 batting average. Aaron Judge, Edwin Encarnacion and Didi Gregorius come up next, providing some mid-order power for the Bombers.

The Yankees hope that left-hander James Paxton will get them back on track tonight, who in 17 starts this season is 5-5 with a 4.20 ERA. While his numbers aren't that impressive, Paxton is still striking out batters at a high rate, and in his lone start against Boston he went eight shutout innings with 12 strikeouts.

Red Sox Lineup

Mookie Betts leads things off for the Red Sox, with the dangerous trio of Rafael Devers, Xander Bogaerts and J.D. Martinez due up afterwards. Bogaerts knocked in the first three runs for Boston on Thursday, launching a 3-run shot off Masahiro Tanaka in the opening frame.

Right-hander Andrew Cashner will make his third start as a member of the Red Sox, and he'll be looking for his first win as he's 0-2 with a 7.36 ERA, including his last time out against Baltimore where he gave up four runs on six hits over six innings of work.
