The first place New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox are set to square off in baseball's greatest rivalry as part of a four-game series getting underway at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night.

How to Live Stream the Game

First pitch is currently scheduled for 7:05pm ET, however the inclement weather may change that. The game will be broadcast on NESN, YES, and MLB Network. Live streaming will be available a few minutes before first pitch on the MLB streams subreddit.

Red Sox Lineup

Leading off for Boston is right fielder Mookie Betts. Andrew Benintendi is in left field and batting second, hoping his big day at the plate on Wednesday can spur a hot streak. J.D. Martinez hits third and will be the team's DH, while Xander Bogaerts plays shortstop and hits cleanup. The red-hot Rafael Devers is batting fifth and playing in the hot corner.

Following an awful series loss at home to the Cleveland Indians, the Sox sit 7.5 games back of the Yankees. Boston's pitching has been the culprit, surrendering an obscene 21 runs in their last 11 innings of work.

Chris Sale will take the mound for Boston. He has just one win on the season but owns a 2.44 ERA in his last seven starts, and has been racking up the punch-outs, boasting 88 K's across 62.1 innings pitched.

Yankees Lineup

The Yankees just won't stop rolling, winners of their last eight series despite the absence of some of their star players. Luke Voit, Gleyber Torres, DJ LeMahieu, Gio Urshela and Gary Sánchez have been mashing, contributing to the fifth highest scoring offense in all of baseball. Sánchez leads the team with 17 homers, and also paces all MLB catchers with a .996 OPS.

LeMahieu is leading off the game, followed by Voit and Aaron Hicks. Sánchez hits cleanup and is behind the plate, while Torres is in at shortstop and batting fifth.

J.A. Happ will get the ball for New York, who has been inconsistent this season but has good career numbers against the Red Sox, the current Boston roster has a cumulative .213 lifetime average against the lefty, though Steve Pearce has had tremendous success against him, and is featured at first base.
