The New York Yankees (32-17) and Kansas City Royals (17-32) are set to play the first game of their Saturday doubleheader at Kauffman Stadium. Who will come out on top?
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on YES and FOX Sports Kansas City as well as MLB Network. Additional streams of the game can be found via the MLB Streams subreddit.
Yankees Lineup
Aaron Hicks leads things off for New York. Gary Sanchez and Gleyber Torres will attempt to extend their hot streaks as they bat third and fourth in the order, respectively. Thairo Estrada, who has quietly posted a .908 OPS with the Yankees, gets the start at second base batting eighth.
J.A. Happ (3-3, 5.16) looks to turn things around on the bump. He got roughed up in his most recent outing against the Orioles, allowing six runs on nine hits in just 3 2/3 innings of work.
Royals Lineup
Rookie Nicky Lopez will bat first for Kansas City, entering play with a .303 batting average in his first year in the MLB. Whit Merrifield and Adalberto Mondesi will bat behind him, followed by power bats Alex Gordon, Hunter Dozier and Jorge Soler, who have combined to hit 29 home runs so far this season.
Jakob Junis (3-5, 5.69 ERA) starts for the Royals, as he attempts to build off of a solid start in which he went seven innings while allowing four runs last time he was on the hill.
