Yankees vs Twins MLB Live Stream Reddit for Wednesday's Game

The first two contests of the three-game series between the New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins have been highly contested. After a 14-12 extra innings thriller Tuesday night, the rubber match of the series comes down to a matchup between two veterans.

Yankees Lineup

The AL's top hitter, D.J. LeMahieu, will lead things off for the Yankees and is followed by the thunderous bat of Aaron Judge. Tuesday night's hero Aaron Hicks will man the three hole with Luke Voit and Gary Sanchez out of the lineup. Austin Romine will bat ninth and replace Sanchez at catcher following his groin injury.

Veteran left hander J.A. Happ will have the tall task of slowing down an offense that's scored 20 runs in two games. After a disastrous June, he has found his grove in July. Happ has pitched to a 2.87 ERA in three starts this month.

Twins Lineup

Twins manager Rocco Baldelli is going back to batting catcher Mitch Garver in the leadoff spot. Jorge Polanco and Nelson Cruz follow Garver, and both homered in Tuesday's slugfest. Cruz is hitting .370 in his career against Happ, but has never homered in 27 at-bats against him.

All-Star Jake Odorizzi takes the ball for the Twins tonight. He's 11-4 with a 3.18 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 99 innings on the year. He has given Edwin Encarnacion fits in the past, only allowing seven hits in 40 at-bats.

Tuesday's matchup was a top candidate for game of the year. These teams might square off in October, so hopefully Wednesday's game is one last taste of what's coming during the postseason.
