Zack Britton Sent for Tests on Right Wrist After Being Struck by Erik Kratz Line Drive During Yankees Live BP

Just when a pair of positive injury updates were presented to Yankee fans, another significant member of the club went down. At this point, it's almost a sign from the Baseball Gods this team can't be happy for more than 20 seconds this winter.
While Giancarlo Stanton and James Paxton both took the next steps towards recovery, reliever Zack Britton ended up getting drilled by a line drive while throwing live BP to veteran catcher Erik Kratz.
The comebacker reportedly nailed Britton in the wrist area, and he was escorted off the field by Gene Monahan while appearing to be in some discomfort.
Bryan Hoch confirmed that Britton was hit on the right wrist and will be sent for further evaluation to assess the severity of the injury. Considering Britton's a left-hander, this could have been a lot worse.
Not a day goes by without some form of injury-related drama of out of Yankees camp, whether it be Luis Severino suddenly needing Tommy John Surgery or the random emergence of a literal fractured rib for Aaron Judge.
Yankee fans are certainly hoping the tests don't reveal anything significant and that Britton won't be forced to the shelf along with his other ailing teammates.
