Yasiel Puig Appears to Shave in the Middle of Reds Game Against Brewers
By Sean Facey
Yasiel Puig is known for what can only be described as his free-flowing attitude. He always lives up to his nickname "Wild Horse" with his flamboyant and fun approach, and that certainly didn't change on Wednesday.
In one of his latest antics, it seems as though the Cincinnati Reds outfielder actually shaved in the middle of his team's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
In all honesty, the before and after photos are pretty incriminating. He must've felt that it was time for a change and that he simply couldn't wait until the game was over to do it.
But Puig might not be the first person this season to bust out a razor midway through a contest. Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen also shaved his mustache in the middle of a game against the Detroit Tigers.
It's not like he's in a slump, though. In fact, he's actually scorching hot. Since the start of July, Puig is slashing .358/.397/.657 with five home runs and 14 runs batted in. Baseball traditions would suggest that Puig wouldn't want to change a thing in the middle of such a torrid stretch of baseball.
But of course, Puig will do what he wants to do, and rightfully so. With that being said, if he falls into a slump, he'll have nobody to blame but himself.
