Yasiel Puig Tries to Welcome Himself to Indians But Fails Miserably in Instagram Story Post
By Jerry Trotta

Is it farfetched to label Yasiel Puig a national treasure? The new Indians outfielder is quite simply one of the most compelling figures in the game of baseball, both on and off the field.
The former All-Star is never shy about delivering fireworks, and that remained true over the weekend when he was right in the middle of one of worst bench-clearing brawls we've seen in recent years (at least since the last one he was involved in). It was truly the perfect capper to Yasiel's brief and explosive stint in Cincinnati.
Well, Puig will be taking his talents to The Land for the remainder of 2019, and opted to embrace the city with a welcoming Instagram post. But there was one problem: he misspelled "Cleve(n)land."

Normally a beloved character, it appears as though the Wild Horse will have to prove his worth to The Land after this blunder, especially when you consider that his debut with the Tribe will be delayed thanks to the role he played during Tuesday's melee.
Puig's final game in Cincinnati ends in a benches-clearing brawl vs the Pirates. Legend.

Cincinnati will miss you, @YasielPuig. pic.twitter.com/EGaNm6LWfY
However, we presume that the Progressive Field faithful will forgive Puig's comical spelling error as soon as he starts hosing down runners, licking his bat, clubbing home runs, and terrorizing opponents on the base path upon returning from his brief moratorium.
