VIDEO: Yu Darvish Responds to Carlos Correa's Latest Tirade and Thinks Astros Should Be Stripped of 2017 Title
By Michael Luciano
In case you needed another reason to slot Chicago Cubs starter Yu Darvish higher on your favorite MLB players list, here he is tearing into the Houston Astros for stealing signs during their championship season. Darvish attacked Astros shortstop Carlos Correa, who claimed Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Cody Bellinger "either does not know how to read...or is not informed at all" following the latter's rant against the Astros organization. Darvish said that the Astros "shouldn't talk," as the organization is currently getting bashed by every corner of the baseball world.
Darvish started the Game 7 loss for the Dodgers against the Astros, and he struggled to consistently get his breaking balls past the Astros' hitters during the 2017 World Series.
Darvish, who later went on to say that he thinks the Astros should be stripped of their 2017 championship, was caught liking a bunch of tweets from players and fans alike that were merciless in their criticism of the Astros' apologies over the last few days.
Darvish is serving as the mouthpiece for a large chunk of the baseball universe here, as the Astros not only got caught ruining the integrity of the sport, but they have been incredibly underwhelming as they try to mend fences.
