Yu Darvish Tells Random Guy on Twitter to Die in the Most Delicious Way Ever

At this point, we're pretty used to athletes getting into Twitter fights with random fans. Just ask Kevin Durant.
However, we rarely see these feuds cross international line. That is until Cubs pitcher Yu Darvish decided to clap back at a fan in his native Japanese on Friday.

Most English-speaking Twitter users certainly don't know the language, leading to many asking Darvish what exactly he said. Thankfully, the pitcher responded and gave us a hilarious answer that nobody expected.
His twitter name is fried chicken, and he said some weird things to me, so I told him to eat fried chicken for every meal until he dies

This had Twitter literally laughing out loud, with some even in tears.
I am crying. ? ???

Mort importantly, Darvish revealed to the sports world that international athlete-fan altercations on Twitter are even better than our own.
While the Cubs would surely rather be in the postseason along with their division-rival Cardinals, at the very least fans can take some solace in the fact an elite starter like Darvish is motivated to prove his doubters wrong...even if it involves fried chicken.
