Zach LaVine Absolutely Needs to Commit to 2020 Dunk Contest After Aaron Gordon Accepted His Invite
By Karl Rasmussen

Who could forget the enthralling 2016 NBA Dunk Contest which featured one of the greatest head-to-head matchups in the event's history. Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine stole the show four years back with their tenacious and creative dunks, and now there's a chance fans could be treated to a repeat of that spectacle.
According to Shams Charania, Gordon accepted the invite to participate in this year's Dunk Contest. The final remaining invite is on the table for LaVine, who absolutely needs to take on the challenge.

LaVine is one of the game's most explosive dunkers, having narrowly edged out the victory in the 2016 Dunk Contest over Gordon. With this year's All-Star festivities set to take place in Chicago, having LaVine on the hardwood would be a huge opportunity to engage local fans.
The other competitors rounding out the field include Dwight Howard and Derrick Jones Jr. Adding LaVine to that pool of players would certainly make things even more exciting.

Fans have been clamoring for a rematch between LaVine and Gordon over the past few years. Now that Gordon has officially declared his intent to compete in the event, we're hoping LaVine makes the same decision.
