Zach Wilson officially benched after terrible showing vs. the Bills

You had a feeling this was coming sooner than later. On Sunday, the Jets took on the Bills and Buffalo cruised to an easy victory. As has been the case throughout the year, quarterback Zach Wilson looked rough from start to finish.
He was benched late in the action in favor of Tim Boyle. Now, Wilson will have to get used to that spot sitting down. On Monday, it was announced that he's out as the starter. Not only that, he's been demoted to the No. 3 job. Goodness:

Wilson just isn't competing at a high level for the Jets and Robert Saleh felt the pressure to make a move. To think what NY would be able to get done this year if Aaron Rodgers didn't tear his Achilles. We'll see what Boyle will be able to do moving forward.
