Zion Williamson Has 'Not Considered' Returning to Duke Following New Orleans' Lottery Win
By Austin Pert

Contrary to the hopes of millions of fans, analysts and possibly even Zion Williamson himself, the New Orleans Pelicans won the NBA Draft Lottery over glitzy favorite New York. Williamson has not hired an agent, though, so many have been speculating if he'd do the unthinkable and return to Duke for another go with Coach K.
However, according Williamson's step dad, there's no chance that happens.
Zion Williamson’s step-father, Lee Anderson, says on the Off the Bench radio show in Baton Rouge that Zion is "excited about the prospect of getting down there and getting settled” in New Orleans & added that returning to Duke “is not something that we have even considered."

Rumors had swirled this week Williamson could return to Duke, or at least threaten to do so as a way to force New Orleans to explore trade options for the No. 1 pick.
Pelicans big man Anthony Davis is also an x-factor in this saga, with Davis having asked for a trade in the middle of this past season, with seemingly no help for him in sight at the time.
The Pelicans insist they are going to keep trying to convince Anthony Davis to stay. Zion Williamson has yet to sign with an NBA agent to theoretically leave open the possibility he returns to school. The Leverage Playoffs are underway, too

What does the future hold for the Pelicans? With Williamson virtually a lock to be the No. 1 pick in next month's NBA Draft, fans are already fired up to see him down in New Orleans. Sorry, Duke fans... your star player will be on the move.
