Zion Williamson is Already Getting The LeBron James Treatment

The out-of-control hype machine surrounding former Duke superstar Zion Williamson hasn't slowed since he was picked first overall in the draft by the New Orleans Pelicans.
Downtown New Orleans has been even more of a party than usual ever since Zion touched down in the Big Easy, and the mania surrounding him has reached a fever pitch, as he was given his own LeBron James-esque banner.

It may not be as iconic as some of the early Nike ads that LeBron was in, but it's still pretty impressive. However, this will serve to aggravate those who are burnt out by the constant barrage of advertisement and hype surrounding Williamson.

Look, Zion has otherworldly athleticism and an outgoing personality that makes him incredibly marketable, everyone understands that. Maybe, just maybe, he should actually play some games before Nike and Jordan decide that he is the second coming?

New Orleans has sky high expectations for their franchise player and athletic freak of nature, and now it's up to him to validate that hype and continue taking over the league.
