Was there ever any doubt? It's hard to gauge just which numerical rating one ought to hand the video game version of a rookie pro athlete, but when it comes to determining who deserves to be at the top of the heap in the upcoming version of the killer app among NBA simulations, Zion gonna Zion.
Yes, Zion Williamson checks in first among the debutantes in NBA 2K20 with an 81 rating.

The New Orleans Pelicans phenom was drafted No. 1 overall for a reason. He's the most hyped NBA prospect certainly since Anthony Davis, and perhaps since LeBron James. A knee injury may have sidelined him for the vast majority of NBA Summer League, but major expectations are facing the New Orleans Pelicans big man right out of the gate.

Following right behind the Duke superstar are the two men drafted immediately after him: Ja Morant of Memphis (79) and RJ Barrett of the Knicks (78). So, did the folks at 2K get this right? Expect some heated debate over these numbers for the rest of the summer and into the fall.
