Zion Williamson Reportedly Left Money on the Table to Sign With Jordan Brand

He may be described as the NBA's next coming of LeBron James, but Zion Williamson has his eyes set on Michael Jordan. And now he'll be sharing the Jumpman logo with his favorite player.
Zion announced his commitment to the Jordan Brand on Tuesday, and according to reports it wasn't his best offer.
Sources say Zion Williamson had offers bigger than the Jordan deal. Left money on the table for his dream of wearing the logo of his favorite player.

Apparently Zion was willing to give up a little cash to wear the logo of his all-time favorite NBA player.
His decision to sign with Jordan is not far off from what many predicted considering Zion's Duke, and thus Nike, background. The famous shoe company supplied the phenom through his freshman campaign, but caught strife for Zion's "shoe blowout" towards the end of the season. Nike did work quickly to fix the issue and supplied a custom pair for the big man, which probably helped to keep him on the Nike track.
Jordan Brand does not rep the infamous 'Swoosh', but it does fall under the Nike umbrella, probably adding to Zion's comfort with the deal.

He enters the Jordan Brand in a class of five professional athletes including fellow NBA rookie Rui Hachimura, WNBA star Kia Nurse and fellow Duke Alumni Jayson Tatum.
Zion will be the biggest name in the class and will definitely have big shoes to fill as he plays out his rookie season with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Now fans anxiously await the arrival of the first "Air Zion's".
