Yankees punch ticket to ALCS after taking down the Royals
One step closer for New York.
Is a return trip to the World Series potentially on the way for the New York Yankees? Well, they're one step closer. After winning the AL East, the Bronx Bombers took on the Kansas City Royals in the ALDS. There was worry after they lost Game 2.
However, New York was able to post back-to-back wins on the road and they're now going back to the ALCS - the good news is Houston is already eliminated. Boom.

Next up for the Yankees will be a tough series with either the Guardians or the Tigers, who are set to meet in a Game 5 showdown. Who will come down on top of that one to advance to meet New York? We'll find out soon enough.
